Do you believe in the after life? Do you think there is a heaven? Do you believe in any form of God? In this article I write about a strange experience which I have had which has led me to start believing in God, an after life and the existence of a heaven.
The strange experience was with a client who attended one of the speech courses that I hold in Birmingham. He happened to be the oldest person who has attended one of these courses, he was aged eighty-two at the time. I must say that I was very shocked that someone of this age was interested in my course and was intrigued to meet him.
During the course we both got on very well and he worked very hard to overcome his speech impediment by observing and using the techniques that I was teaching him to the best of his ability. He was very happy with his progress and towards the end of the week he started to really open up with me as he gained more and more confidence.
At one stage I enquired as to why at the age of eighty-two he was still seeking a cure to his stuttering problem. I had thought that by this age he would have in a way accepted his stutter and would have given up of ever finding a stuttering solution. He replied that he had tried many different forms of stuttering treatment and even though they had not really helped him that he had another reason to keep looking for new and improved forms of stuttering therapy. This was because in his words, I know for a fact that there is an after life and I do not want to return with this horrible stutter. He could not tell me why or how he knew, this was quite frustrating for me as I was eager to know etc.
This was very interesting for me and I have since been reading quite a lot of information about the after life and am now convinced that this is not the only life we have.
